Default The new "sleeper" 29er rims?

Gotta say...I am WHEY stoked on the new 29er wheels I picked up today. I have always really really like Velocity wheels but it has been a while since I ran them...went with the new Blunts and gotta say the look great. They sure as heck look killer and wide (28mm) and no doubt will make for a robust wheelset. Black nipples with silver spokes and Hope Pro II hubs (rear single speed hub with bolt ons).

Weight if you care, with rim strips, was 2042 grams so not weight weenie but that was intentional....

Just thought others may want to consider these rims among the many others as I really think these made in Australia gems remain under the radar unnecessarily

Also gonna use a cool cog I have seen before...told chad to just send me something (we actually traded bikes which is kewl) and this is what i got...

will let you know....a couple things delaying me riding it unfortunately...

* need adapter to run my juicy brakes on the non postmount fork
* need cassette lockring (can get anywhere i am sure)
* by accident forgot to include quick release adapters for front fork (en route)

HOPEFULLY can have ready for this weekend but unlikely i am guessing

Are you looking at these hubs and rims? single speed? who is doing your wheels?

they would go on my geared bike. Looking at the blunts / flows / or salsa semi discs on hope pro II's.

Was going to have adrenaline do them....

gotcha.....at least give my dawg Chad at redbarn a call and tell em I sent you....his prices/service rock and he builds a KILLER wheel as many can attest to...as does larry mettler.

anyway, good choices on rims....i have now 3 sets of 29er wheels running Blunts, Flows, and Delgado Disc rims and like em all
