Unhappy Just got back from Sea Otter.... heard someone was killed on the DH course

Just drove back last night. The talk of the festival yesterday was that someone was killed on the DH course, people were saying a 44yo guy. I was on the total opposite side of the racetrack by the Super D and Dual Slalom, anybody have any info.

That's horrible to hear hope it turns out to be false. Dylan Dean might post something up but as of yet I don't see anything related to that.

I wish it were untrue, but although they have not identified the victim, this is too much info to be a rumor IMHO.

Is that him in the picture? Sorry to hear that we lost a riding brother. condolences to the family.

I went thru this experience not too long ago, a friend of mine had a heart attack while we (were doing our other hobby) and having fun. Someone found him down in the dirt, people immediately started CPR. Long story short, we lost our friend.

Again, prayers and best wishes to his family.

My heart goes out to those that are left behind... as we will never see his particular likes come this way again. We are each individuals, each totally unlike the other... but we are sharing a love for the sport that draws us all together into a Tribe. When one is lost, we all feel it. Make the most of the time you have here.... be kind to each other and try and leave this world a little better than it was before you came.

I can't believe that heaven will not have some outrageous singletrack ....
