Bummer. The only reason I did not buy Apple was because of all the Windows based map programs I have. I reallt though hard about boot camp and running windows on a new Apple.
I am using the Apple Safari on my Windows machine. The graphics are much sharper and cleaner than EI or Firefox. Most stuff runs fine, but there are a few sites that don't work right. Dean

Ya i think im going to have to suck it up and wait till they come out with a Mac based Software. That is the only flaw i have come to see, lots of windows programs and software, not so many Mac stuff. Otherwise i love the it.

What about the web based programs like Geoladders, Google Earth Pro, and MotionBased?

Supposedly Motionbased/Garmin now support Mac. You can look here: http://blog.motionbased.com/2006/03/...pport_is_.html and read for more info. With Motionbased you just download there "Agent" and it does most of the work for you.

Didn't mean to steer this into the eternal Mac/Pc debate. I have both, and see pros & cons with each. The Mac is 7 years old, with very limited RAM and HD space, so for my purposes it's not worth upgrading the OS. I'd rather invest in a newer computer.

I have a MacBook and I downloaded the Training Center from Garmin's website. It works fine. As far as Geoladders goes, everything works fine, but you can't use GeoAgent on a Mac. I have to use my PC to upload new rides.

You can download Training Ctr from Garmin as well as the latest firmware for the Edge for the Mac. Training Center on Mac does not let you import crs files and transfer them to the Edge. I have to download the crs file from Geo, burn to cd, go to a friends house and use his PC to move the file over. There is other software to use as well. Download Ascent. I use that and it is cheap for full version. Trailrunner is another one to download. You can use that to export individual rides as gpx files. Training Center on mac exports your entire history which is annoying. Motionbased has limited Mac support, meaning you lose the player capabilities but everything else works fine and unless they offer a discount for us mac users, why pay for limited functionality. Ascent will also let you directly load your route into Google Earth, so no need for Google Plus, unless you need hi-res printing. Trackrunner is another one to download and checkout. I have it but have not played with it alot. There is yet to be the one all program on the mac, but I am reminded how much more happier I am with my mac everytime I use my friends pc to transfer crs files! Hope this helps and sorry for not using paragraphs
