Default Another Edge 305 Question

How do you create a GPX file from your Garmin? I use training center to download my history but would like the gpx file to upload to another site.

You need to use motion based to do the conversion.

I just looked on GeoMan's site and I show the Garmin for $235. Is the rebate already factored in that price or is the $75 rebate on top of that?

If the rebate is after that price....I'm getting 3 of 'em. But seriously if it is, thats the best deal ever.

The rebate offer is over AFAIK. If you have a form check the expiration date.

GEOMAN has the best prices. And from what i understand is quite reputable as well. Quick turnaround.

You had to have purchased your Garmin before 11/30 to qualify for the rebate.

Geoman still has the best price IMO. $230 isn't bad and it's TOTALLY worth it. REI sells them for $399 so you can see why $230 is still a great price.

Liz - you are going to have to break down and read the manual! I swear it's not that bad. It's overwhelming how much that little thing can do, but once you get the basics it's not too hard to setup. I'd help ya, but you're too far away.

I PM GeoMan and he confirmed that the rebate is over . If this rebate/deal reappears I will be all over it. I still cannot believe I missed this!

That rebate was the only reason that i even considered purchasing the Garmin...after the rebate it cost me about $160
Thats a steal especially since they sell for about $399 on other sites, now if i could just figure out how to use the damn thing

Default Garmin 305

I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced problems with the Garmin 305. I've only had it about 2 months and it has shut off and completely reset once (going down sycamore in Chino Hills) and now it just froze up on me recently. I got it to shut off but now it won't even power up. As far as I could tell, it was up to date on the software. Anyone else have frequent problems with GPS devices?

I've had similar problems. Have you tried the reset procedure: Simultaneously hold down POWER, MODE, and LAP.
