Depends on your definition of "often."

I do put my saddle down, but my brain goes with it.

Yeah, I think I'm going to try a stem mount.

Air shifter no, it's the pneumatic on-the-fly geometry adjustment on the Bionicon Edison. Changes the front travel from 150mm to 70mm or anywhere in between, and HT angle from 67 - 73 degrees, or anywhere in between. You can see the company's demo on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08DlDKjx2xw

Also, you can see how "safe" my garmin is, mounted on top of the steerer tube, behind the handlebar clamps. Only problem with that position is that I lose about half the "stem" adjustment, but since I haven't changed the stem position since the first few months on the bike, it hasn't been a problem.

I ordered mine from GeoMan on Weds 11/28 and received it yesterday 11/29. And I just mailed out my rebate this morning. Make sure you make copies of verything before you send it out. Can't wait to try it out this weekend.

This is such an awesome thread-ive been wanting a 305 for a few months but due to the price I figured it would be awhile before I would be willing to part with such a hug chunk (they were about $360 when I first looked into them).
I ordered mine today from geoman after nothing but positive feedback on the unit itself and on geoman-that guy is awesome.
I ordered it earlier today and had a problem with the billing (looked as if it was going to bill me twice-my fault ) and i sent them an email and no sooner did i click send that Jay himself was calling me on my cell to clear everything up. Of course i didnt answer because i didnt recognize the number and it never crossed my mind that the service would be that exceptional.
He cleared up all of the confusion and he said i should have my unit come monday...thats awesome shipping time for standard shipping.
Sucks that i wont get it until x-mas but at least itll be here!

The Bionicons are a super sweet set up!!!!
I was at Adrenaline a few weeks ago and came across one of these. Me and one of the guys there spent at least an hour talking about Bionicon and how sweet the set up was-i am totally sold on that being my next bike but i wanted to get feedback from anyone that owned one because ive never seen one out on the trails.

How do you like your Bionicon-Pros vs. Cons?

Geoman, what's the scoop on the 705's? Any ETA or price yet? As much as I love my Edge, I do sometimes use mapping features (you can see the old Vista in the photo I posted previously in the thread being used for that purpose, with an Edge).

Do Work, let's move the Bionicon questions to another thread....but yes, I'm still stoked on it, even after three years.

Garmin's official stance is "1Q 2008"...

We've got hundreds on order, waiting... Have even pre-sold quite a few.

Should be a good seller but the Edge 305 is a great unit as is.

Forget the Garmin software. It is total crap. The only use the Training Center has for me is to move routes from Geoladders onto the device itself. Download Ascent and buy the full version. I love it. Gives you a calendar view of all your rides. Detailed map views with playback. Export directly to Google Earth and the list goes on. The author constantly updates the program too, based on feedback from users!
