Here is the cheapest place to pick up an EDGE.
I just bought an EDGE 305 w/ HR for $235 plus a $75 rebate. Beat that. http://www.geomangear.com/index.php?...products_id=14 The owner of Geoman called my cell phone directly after I placed my order and told me he would overnight ship my Edge for no extra cost! They also carry many lighting and other GPS systems. |

The only reason I would spend the $$ at Costco is that they have a fantastic return policy. I am not very tech minded and if I hate the Garmin or it kills my 15 minute attention span tyring to figure it out, I can just take it back with ease. I do almost all my shopping nowadays from places that have good return policys!
Of course, then again, after looking at it and doing some math, for $160 I'm sure I can figure it out within 14 days or not!!!!

Well, I've never heard of anyone dis-liking the EDGE. There are soo many features available on the EDGE, and if you don't like a feature (such as elevation or Heart Rate Zones) you can turn it off so it never bothers you.
Very easy to use and can mount on multiple bikes. I mostly use mine for road riding as my uses for the EDGE are based more on fitness, distance and HR. The rebate I believe is a Garmin thing, so you may be able to use the $75 anywhere, but don't quote me! I know the rebate expires sometimes in November so watch out for that. |

Caveman posted this under the Chilao RR. I just printed it so I don't think you need to sign up for the Power bar newsletter to get the rebate.
$75 rebate on Edge 305 through 11/30

Hey all!
Thanks for the support! We appreciate it very much! We've sold between 5,500 and 6,000 Edge 305's and have had two returns (one was a Christmas gift - unwanted). If you are worried about a return policy, you probably won't need it... We've sold multiple units to the same people who just couldn't live without their Edge. You easily get hooked on them. ![]() |

Well, I bailed on my beloved Costco and went with Geoman. Financially for me, that was the better deal after the rebate. The return policy with Costco rocks but even after the rebate, it was 220 bucks or so. With Geoman, it was 160. So if I end up hating it, watch for a thread that says "for sale Garmin 305 for $160"
