Maple Springs to Santiago Peak, w/ pix...

Decided to take a nice ride on Saturday, however I traded in my leg power for some horse power...





















This was a very fun trip and I would like to get all those together with vehicles capable of doing this drive together for a caravan one day soon!!!

The big irony is that just as I think I'm hot-sh*t looking like an "xterra commercial" I see something like a Civic drive by!

I took my wife, dad, his fiance, and our dog up the Main Divide on Sunday afternoon too. We drove from Ortega hwy to Trabuco then hiked out to East Horsethief. Man was it windy!

If by "Long Canyon Road" you mean the gate that is off Ortega and just past Blue Jay Campground, then yes, it's open. And on our last few trips to the MS area that gate has been opened too.

I'm thinking about doing this trip on Saturday. Perhaps meet at the corner of Santiago Canyon and Silverado. Anyone interested???

Hey Kippie, I'm down with this, I made a thread on a Ranger forum and some people might join too, the plan is to meet at Jamboree & Chapman at 9 am, so, if you don't mind wheeling with a bunch of Rangers, you should join us!!!
