I am at MTB-rider from Norway. I will attend a conference in LA in the month-shift March-April, and I plan to stay for 3-5 days after the conference to do some riding. I'm not sure if I will bring my own bike (Marin Attack Trail 06), so essentially, I would like to know where I can rent a bike and also tips on where to stay (close to the trails). Moreover, I like to get some tips to the best trails in Southern California. The more technical, the better. The Santiago Truck trail and the trails in San Juan seems nice. Do you agree? I wood also like to know if there is a group of riders that I can join while there,

Laguna Cyclery rents high-end Santa Cruz's 949.494.1522. Lots of hotels. Camping at O'neill park puts him close to many of the rides in the Santa Ana's. One less cougar to bother the campers too.

incycle does rentals i think...i thought i saw a sign on a bike or something that said rent me or ride me...maybe just a test bike, i don't know

Rock and Road also does rentals. There rate is $25 per day.
