Bobcat is not on the list of trails to reopen. That and Widow Maker were the 2 trails that we will not be getting back.

As it stands now, Waterfall will remain how it is.

If there is a trail you want back and it's not on the list....you still have til the meeting on the 16th to present your reasons for wanting that trail....

with regards to Bobcat...those of you that want it should push that it was on the map before and that the past rangers had approved it...Donald and Sara.

with regards to Widowmaker....we are all being punished because of a few poachers that use that trail to enter the private Irvine Ranch area at the bottom of that trail. I feel that closing that will not make those that poach not do it..those that poach, poach. So we shouldn't all be punished.

With regards to Waterfall....state that there have never been incidents reported from injury on that trail.

It's up to you all to contact the Ranger and go to the meeting this Wed the 16th and state your reason why you want a trail! It's not too late....state you reasons and be persistant...it's been working so far...don't give up now.

The more park users that state they want those above stated trails the more chances of them opening them! Don't just sit back...call Ranger Jim at the park and personally talk to him! Or come out to the trailwork on Sunday and personally talk to him...he will be there.
