I just got back with a crazy Redline MonoCog 29er. The guy had an internal 8 setup in the back and a 8 pound gel seat. I got it for a great deal. I took it off to get ready for the single speed set up. But it does have Haynes Nine hydraulic brakes.

There's always a bit more MTB stuff at the SD swap, but like you say, it's a way from the OC...

Time for an OC MTB swapmeet....hint hint....I think this was brought up recently by someone....

After reading about the SD swap the last time, I was hoping to make it this time around. Where do you find out the dates?

Hmmm. Maybe I should go there for socks next time. I mostly use regular socks, and that's a roadie faux pas.

I got there early and there was a lot to choose from. Some good finds. I got a new saddle for 5 bucks! My ass thanked me afterwords on my ride this morning. I don't know if it would be worth the trip from OC though.
