ok, so can you guys give me some ideas as far as bar lights and helmet lights these thing run from 50-200 bucks,
What to look for which are the best and worst anything you can help out with to help decide on which ones to purchase. currently i have not done any night riding but as the summer approaches i would like to do longer rides after work since there will be no school.

My main lights are NightSun Tri-Lights. They light up the entire trail and I have been using them AND the orriginal battery for 8yrs now. Cost a few pennies though
Click image to go to the Tri-Light page ![]() Also, recently I read the reviews on the Blackburn System X6, all said bad things but I bought the system anyways for 95$ from JensonUSA. The x6 is no more and they have replaced it with the X8. The only reason I can see that anyone had issues was they did not do the initial charge long enough. It is supposed to be 4 HOURS and not 3. 3 hrs gets you, as stated in the directions, an 80% charge not the 100%. Plus, you need to leave it on the charger when not using it as it comes with a "smart" charger or "trickle" charger how ever you want to call it. No link ![]()
