For me I don't see another 26" wheeled bike in my future. I have to ride the RIP 9 for a while first though. But the SS and the geared HT I would never look back!

I have owned a 29 inch bike since October 2005 added a full suspesion Niner July last year. I split my time 1/2 between 26 and 29. Reason I have not more over 100% is it is hard to put the RFX down with that 7 inches of zoke butterness.

Can't really say. By the time I go to replace her, I would imagine there will be quite a few more frames out there... but I do like the VVP. I have a Blur Classic as well)... it seems to work for me.

i feel my 29er is great for climbing and fast flowing trails. On some rocky decents where upi actually need to move the bike a little I think a 26er is way better
as for me 26er 4x, 26er Freeride, 29er all around trail bike/XC

stability is the operative word here...on a 29'er i seem to descend st a lot faster...i was amazed at how nicely i went down lynx last night and when i rode chiquita ridge and descending some of those it was very confident inspiring.

From what I've read, they fit Fox forks with no alterations. Though Fox has spoken out against doing so. Haro is coming out with the "Beasley". A rigid 650 available in SS or with gears. It looks pretty cool. Haro's Product Manager has a blog and she posted pics. Second and third posts from the top. http://www.bikebizbabe.blogspot.com/

I rode a 29er for the first time yesterday and it was awesome. As others mentioned for dh/free ride I dont think so. But is just amazing how well the hold speed, roll so effortlessly.I see a 29 hard tail in the neat future. I was really impressed, but I will not get rid of my 26" bikes.I like both.

heard that many times......... ![]() Hate to say it but 95% of riders that spend enough time on a 29'er (beyond parking lot test) never go back
