Picking up a set of Mavic Crosstrail Disc wheels from Cal Coast today. Plan to run them tubeless with 2.35 Maxxis High Rollers. I ride mostly aggressive cross country (LPQ, Sycamore Canyon, occasionally Noble) and do some minor drops 3' or less. All being done on an Ellsworth Id. I have been running older Bontrager Race Lite Discs with tubes.

Just want some opinions on this wheelset. Seem like a great deal for the price (can't afford to spend $$$ on the Croosmax). Thanks for inputs.

Great thread, i have actually been looking at these as well, i would also like to see what people have to say about them.

I have 'em on my SS. I bash that thing into every rock garden and jump I can find on and off the trail. They're good to go.

Peformance has them for $223 front and $251 Rear.

Jensen has the $474 for both, without our STR discount.

Wheelworld.com has them for $474 as well.

I am getting a heck of a deal from Cal Coast and they have a member program that can get you 10% off purchases. Good guys to work with and very helpful. That being said, I went ahead and bought them. I'll make a report after breaking them in this weekend.

Anybody else have experience with them? Still interested in hearing from you. Not much info to bad had from MTBR and I trust what I see here more anyhow.
