Okay, now that we've seen the bike Foo. You should know that SSpeed is overrated and you can go ahead and sell it and buy this. Err wait, buy this first then sell the Kona.

word of advice: stay away from Ti.

Nice bike, Foo-

hey, if you have slippage issues with your rear dropouts, you might need to put star washers in between the bolt heads and the frame- I had to do this on the Wife's Explosif.

it was a recommendations from Carl @ The Path.

funny you should say that, because the rear does com w/ the star washer but I was told by other kula owners to put a washer between the star washer and the frame so that it doesnt dig into the frame which is common and kinda messes things up.

I can't imagine the rear wheel not sliding a bunch if you put the washer underneath the star washer. I don't see the point of using a star washer at all if you do this.

just a quick update tonight. got to take her out again on a quick ride after work. the ride consisted of:

MILF park --> coyote --> up dripping cave --> turn around back up dripping cave --> back up fireroad and climb home via canyon vista

This bike really handle surprisingly well through the twisties of coyote i'm finding myself hitting the turns a little faster than i normally do and the acceleration out of the corners are a lot snappier. The decents are awesome, i friggin love the way this bike descends...very stable and very confidence inspiring. Climbing is really good on this as well as i get used to shifting my weight around, the captains in the rear really do their job of gripping and allowing me to motor up the climbs.

I think the only things that would make this more of a sweet ride would be a nice wheelset and sweet brakes the Juicy 3's dont quite do the job...maybe a change of pads are in order.

I want to get her out on a more extended ride this weekend and really have fun.
