If the forum will allow me to expand upon my three words "lets me forget"....I think this is true amongst alot of mountain bikers....When you are riding you simply must concentrate on the trail...the here and now is all you know, or you will crash..and in that process you are allowed to forget your everyday worries whatever they may be. It's for that reason that mountain biking is so special for me.
