Just thought I would share something I just started doing the last few rides real quick. I squeeze just a bit of lemon, lime, or orange juice into my camelak and mix in the water. Sometimes I get tired of just regular water and this helps. Hope you try it and like it too.

A few us while having a BBQ many moons ago, thought it would be cool to mix up our margaritas in our camelbaks and just take tugs when every we wanted vice having to keep making them all night. You can split a bottle of the mix between two 70oz bladders and split the a 5th between the two bladders as well and have a might might margarita. I only had "two" all night. I learned two really important lessons from that night. 1) When make margaritas one glass at a time. You will eventually will get too drunk to make them any more. The bladder magaritas get around this pesky little rule of thumb. 2) You can never get that taste of the bladder. ![]() |

I have a brand new 70 oz bladder in the closet, when I decide to to the old one to rest I just might try the margarita fill. Does drinking margaritas out of a tube have the same effect of drinking out of a straw?
Better yet I think I will save the drinks for after the ride. |
