I tried to download the ride history from my Garmin 305 the other day and I received an error message that stated, "There was a problem while communicating with your device. Please make sure it is connected to the computer, then try again." I tried uninstalling and re-installing the software but it still wouldn't communicate.
Has anyone ever had this happen before and if so,what was your solution? Thanks, Rich |

I have had that happen and I just turned the 305 off and on again and it was fine. Good luck!

I update all my softwares and the problems went away. I could no update from within the Training center application. I had to go to the garmin website and download it manually.

garmin's tech support is top notch. They will walk you through any problem and stay on the line til it's resolved. I have never seen that error before though.
