Go to College - get a free Trek
OK, so maybe it's not the caliber of bike most of us would get excited about, but this is a pretty cool idea by Ripon College in Wisconsin: Enroll and sign a pledge not to bring a car to campus all semester, and they'll give you a free bike! (inspired by New Belgium Brewery, perhaps?)
Lets hope this sort of program catches on at more schools and businesses. Here's the full story.
