I've got a nite rider Trail Rat now, and it's just kinda useless next to my HID bar light.
What's out there that would compliment the HID, but won't break the bank? |

I would mount the hid to your helmet and put the other one on the bar

i use a niterider hid on the bar and a niterider minewt led on the helmet and i think it is an awesome set up.
the heavy hid is on the bar and acts as a flood while the superlight led is up on the helmet for a spot. i won't be changing my setup for quite some time.

Or build your own light! It definitely won't break the bank and you can build a killer light to fit your needs.
How I Built My Own MTB Light Here is just one good design from MTBR. There are many other great ones.

I second this setup. I have been using the same set up the last 6 months or so and love it. |
