I wanna go to the Fat Tire Festival In Crested Butte, CO. I almost didn't want to share so I can keep that place to myself. People who have ridden Moab, CB, Fuita etc. Choose CB as their vacation spot. No kidding...

Went to Sea Otter in 05'. Left at 3 in the morning. Perfect weather, rode the XC course with the Marin bros. They still talk about my buddies wreck on their rig. Want to do a charity century.

Here's a local one, haven't been but would like to:

CORBA Fat Tire Fest

I've always wanted to do this one FRUITA FAT TIRE FESTIVAL 4/24-27 but it's too close to Sea Otter.

Crested Butte looks pretty inviting. That 401 trail seems idyllic.

A friend and I are going to the festival in Fruita this year and it's a first for us both. With New Belgium Brewery as a sponsor, it seems like a decent choice. Fat Tire for the fat tires.

401 is one of THE best trails in America ... has everything on it. It must have been good, it made an impression on me!

Getting in here kinda late... Riders Trail 401 is awesome! It's even a gorgeous climb up the valley to the trailhead. Freaking lung-busting to get up to the peak elevation, though.

Just shy of 11,400

Justin actually preferred Reno - Flag - Bear - Deadman's south of town to 401. Both are cool in their own way. Fire road climbs that lead to awesome ST.

Not a soul in sight

Trailhead

Miles of smiles

Been to CB twice and I always stay for a week and ride my brains out. I keep trying to get back there, but school keeps throwing me curveballs. One of these years I wanna race the CB Classic: 100 miles, no entry fee , no course map, no aid, no awards and more singletrack than Leadville. Totally off the radar and the ultimate expression of MTB love in my book.

Sea Otter is awesome. I raced DH in 2003, lots of fun. Got to hang and booze it up with some big names too, which was fun. Awesome riding, fun DH course. I may go again this year and do Super D. The one in Oregon is one I've been hearing/reading about for a few years now. I've spent some time up that way....Oregon is amazing. Definitely on my to-do list.

Default Canyonlands Fat Tire Festival

Really miss the Moab trips and the awesome festivals they used to host!

Kernville Fat Tire Fest is also a fun festival with some great trails.

SHARE used to do some group road trips that felt like festivals--so many people would show up for them!
