Default Hilarious Response To My For Sale Ad On Craigslist

i was selling my bike on craigslist(which sold by the way...WooHoo) and this is one of many responses i received...check it out...very creative!! a lot of thought went into this..has anybody ever gotten this response??

If you're dead set on your selling price, read no further and please
accept my apology for wasting ten seconds of your time.

If, however, you want the option of a bona-fide, albeit lesser offer,
and assuming that your bike is great mechanical and cosmetic
condition, I have $500 in cash to bring to you immediately, and that
means within 60 minutes of speaking with you by phone.

Now I know that you are probably getting ready to fire back at me with
an angry email, but before you do, please read on.

I understand that you can eventually get more from the perfect buyer.
Unfortunately, that buyer is not me. That said; I come as
promised/when promised, and with a pre-agreed-upon cash amount,
something that you will not get from Craiglist kooks who are extremely
likely to waste your time with no-shows, attempted renegotiations, or
crazy trade scenarios.

Please don't be insulted by my offer. It is neither personal, nor is
it an indictment of your bike. Again, I know that you may get more
than I am offering if you are willing to wait for weeks in order to
find the right buyer, however, the bottom line is that from time to
time when I sell something off on Craigslist, I frequently spend so
much time dealing with time wasters, that I often wind up a large
percentage of what the item is worth in time expended: (free time
hours wasted X hourly pay rate = unrecoupable costs)

So, if at any point you see a pattern starting to develop, one in
which flaky people are continually wasting your time, time after
time, I would simply ask that you consider that every extra hour that
you spend dealing with the sale of your bike could be costing you
anywhere from $25 to $500 that you will never see again, depending on
whether you are an administrative assistant, or an entertainment
attorney...

Okay, that's all from me. Again, I am sorry to make you an offer that
you may find wholly unacceptable, but if you're looking for a clean
and hassle-free sale, let me know and I'll send you my number.

Thanks for your time, and good luck with your sale.

Regards,

Dave

Dave,

I totally understand your position, but I do have someone that is on the way over soon to buy my bike for the agreed upon price. He was a bit pushy, but I really do need the cash. However, if you'd like to standby, I'll get back to you immediately if the deal goes south. Stay close to your computer and I'll get back to you soon.

Warm regards,

I'm gonna cut n' paste that next time I want to lowball someone off craig's list.
What did you end up getting for your bike and how many hours of pay did you miss out on as a result?
