I need a tow truck ASAP

Well Dino and I decided to skip the group ride at San Juan in favor of some more freerideish action at Oaks. We met up with mcgrath, Scott and Greg at the Taco Bell and rode in from there. Made our way to the 3 b's, did the trail at the top of the 2nd b off to the left (not sure of the name) which was pretty fun and had a few nice rutted technical sections. Then we made our way back up to the top play area where we practiced our drops. Got some pics and a few videos of the drop at the top. Thanks to mcgrath for taking pics and videos of us and being patient. We got some light showers but nothing bad. The trails were in good shape. We hit Chutes on the way out. No major crashes and had a good ride in the nice cool temps. Here are some pics

Indeed, it was a fun ride! That first ST at the top of the 2nd b*tch was fun, kinda short, but still was a blast negotiating the ruts, rocks, waterbars and the small staircase at the bottom.
Thanks to Pat for snapping some great shots of us up at the play area. Scott was awesome and did the drop, I saw him from the back and it looked like he might have endoed off of it, but he pulled it off, nice! FXRob took the inaugural huck, then I followed. After about 15 minutes of drops and photos, we continued down Chutes and had even more fun. Scott "wowed" us with some amazing freestyle tricks and bunnyhops over fallen shrubery on the way out. Taco Bell tasted great after the ride, lets do this again!!! George, is there any way you can host the videos so rob can upload them? They are short Quiktimes I believe. |
