Default Memorial Mark Reynolds @ Whiting Ranch

There's a little wood bench memorial to Mark Reynolds at the top of Dreaded Hill at Whiting Ranch Park. It reads "He was doing what he loved." I had to sit there and take in the view for a minute. I wouldn't mind spending eternity with the view from there. Very nice job, whoever did that.

Max could have hiked to the top ya know....

On a more serious note, I do want to check out that memorial, it will be the first time I've ever gone up Dreaded Hill, gives me a good reason to now.

I thought she lost the key, he must have sweet lock picking skills and was able to escape and make it back in time before she returned from her manicure/pedicure. ;o)

I do go up Mustard, but don't you have to hang a right to go up to the top of Dreaded Hill to see the bench that was put in place?

Word up, you have to hang a right. I actually thought you might try going up the steep side of Dreaded Hill, Steven.

It was an afternoon ride, not to hot last Sunday. I'm trying to spend some more time on the mtb to train for the Bonelli and Mt. Sac races.

What's up with this Switchback Cyclery 6-Hours of Orange County presented by the Warriors Society? Where's the Flying B Adventure Park in OC?

We have been up there the last several weeks working on some of the trails for the 6hr event. Looks to be a fun time.
