Here are my 2 busted up frames. Any idea what to do with them? Make something out of them? Art? furniture?

Give them away... to me?
![]() But what's wrong with them? The worst damage i see is the rub on the hardtail.

The hardtail has 2 small cracks in the headtube. One at the top and one at the bottom and the Stumpy has a slightly ovalised head tube. I measured the the lower head tube with verniers and have the run out dims

I know for a fact that if you are the original owner of the Specialized they will warranty the frame. If they have that year and model in their stock they will replace it, if not they will give you something equal or slightly better.
I had my 03 S Works Enduro crack on me last year and a week later i was holding a brand new 04 S works Enduro frame with a brain. The only thing i had to pay was to have the LBS disassemble and reassemble my bikes. |

Won't Specialized warranty it? I have a friend who wrote a letter to the president of Specialized when his 5 or 6 year old enduro and he got a complete new bike.

I saw a workshop at a Performance where the had the back end of a road bike cut as a work stool. They cut the tubes from the seat tube forward off, and put a soft cushion seat on for a unique 3 leg stool.

Man, dem white doods are bad!
WTF, does this have to do with busted frames? If you don't get them replaced thru Specialized, sell em for scrap.

When I retire my old trek carbon frame it will be made into a lamp for my someday game room. I've already got the plans done. I need to fashion a holder for the bottom bracket area. The cord will go thru the BB up the tube and the light fixture will be in the top of the seat tube.
I still havnt figured out what type/color/shape lamp shade will go with it. go to walmart, buy a cheap/cheesy lamp, take the parts out and then put them in the HT frame and beat me to the punch.

Take the frames to the desert and unload some lead in them

I always thought it would be cool to hang old frames in a velvet shadow box
