Yeah, but Vitamin C DOES help keep you stay well. I always take Airborne (and will continue to) as very fast and effective way to administer Vitamin C. That's what that stuff mostly is.

I don't know what people are concerned about, I tired Airborne and it worked great FOR ME and my purposes.

Sincerely,

Oh man..... My mom used to take that stuff daily. I hope she saved all of her receipts.

I bet the teachers that invited are all in detention now.

"Airborne is basically on overpriced, run-of-the-mill vitamin pill that's been cleverly, but deceptively, marketed."

That about sums it up. Read your labels people. Why would Airborne work any better than other vitamins? Doesn't make sense...

Also, it says on the package that it was created by a school teacher. Why the hell would I want a teacher formulating my vitamin supplements? That's like bragging that the head chef at your restaurant is a diesel mechanic.

I dont understand y it was proven uneffective. Vitamin c has been proven a immune system booster and L-Glutamine and I'm sure alot of the other ingredients. I have never taken it but I just cant see why its uneffective when it has ingredients that are proven immune system boosters....

Airborne claimed to fight colds. There is no scientific evidence that Airborne does so.

You can get your vitamin C alot cheaper than through Airborne although for some people who don't like pills it's an OK way to get it into your system.

It's claims were too specific. You can sell non-approved drugs as long as you don't make specific claims that they work...and apparently Airborne did.

Airborne is expensive. I'll bet after this lawsuit it will be cheaper. Airborne (for me) soothes a sore throat. My totally unsubstantiated belief is that my body absorbs more of vitamin C when it is a liquid. I base this only on how I feel, compared to taking vitamin C pills when I'm sick. Placebo? Maybe, but I'll take it. I hate being sick.

Either way, I'm sold on taking extra vitamin C when I'm sick, or about to, or my family members are sick.
