Good Luck everyone! I wish I could be there to cheer you on, but I have to do a fund raiser this weekend. You've done all the hard work, now it's time to just enjoy the ride.

This is starting to feel like the night of June 5th, 1944 and I'm in a boat off the coast of France.

(yeah, that's way too melodramatic and probably an insult to veterans, but you know what I mean)

Good luck everyone!

I meant to do a thread like this one too..but of course some more on the ball STR person beat me to it!

Remember:

- ride you own ride! Ride someone else's ride and you will suffer.
- relax
- take it easy and DC...don't crash
- above all...HAVE FUN!!! This is an experience you will remember for the rest of your life. Why not enjoy it!!!!!

Default VQ-CC....Good Luck Tomorrow!!!

Good luck to everyone tomorrow.

A few things I have learned from the past.

1) Try to remember to smile and enjoy as much of the ride as you can.

2) Remember you are doing this because you like riding and hiking a bike.

3) Drink a lot of fluids today

4) Remember you like riding and hiking a bike

5) Don't be a D!ck out there. Be good to others

6) Remember you like riding and hiking a bike

7) Be really nice to the people at Aid Station #1 :-)

Remember you really do like riding and hiking a bike

9) It is too late to start training now

10) Extra tubes and co2 are a good idea (aosty)

Good luck everyone and I'll be seeing you on the course. Be sure to say hi! You will all do great. Smile and try to have some fun!

For those familiar with The Motorway... it is REALLY easy to pick up some good speed, be careful because the trail is super loose and the trail has some new turns in it. Be careful!!!!

Good luck!!!!

I see a pattern here!

Someone want to put that on their back and then ride right in front of me?

We're still on for "dessert" right?

Yeah, good luck to all you nutties tomorrow during the VQ and CC. Should be a perfect day for riding, weather wise.

Ronnie, please take notice of Andy's rule #5 and live by it religiously! Thank you and GLTY.

Is the "dessert" of the dark brown "Guiness gives you strength" variety? I might have to pick up some of that to have in the vehicle after the ride tomorrow.

I suspect that I will either come in very late, so it will really be dessert or I will miss a time cut-off and be able to have my "dessert" at my leisure.

My plan is to ride and hike and ride and hike and ride and hike and ride and hike.... I think you get the idea.

Hopefully my 29 tooth chain ring will come in today and my 1x8 will be more manageable.

Good luck everyone.

FYI - air temp here for the past 3 mornings has been a pleasant 48F with pretty low humidity, this morning was super misty and as a result it felt alot cooler - best bring some clothing options to the start line.

Pulled the plug a couple weeks back so won't be joining in the fun this year after all. Will be thinking of you all, though, out there doing us and yourselves proud.

Weather looks to be shaping up nicely--hopefully you'll get last year's temps without last year's wind.

Already looking forward to the pics. and reports. Best of luck everybody
