Is any STR People going up to the sea otter classic this year? I'm going for the xc and to watch some events for a mini vacation.

Denmother's got the Sea Otter already listed in the Events area. Check out April, late April, and sign in! Looks like we got ourselves a CONVOY!
WOOOO!

We are staying at the Hyatt in Monterrey this year. In previous years we stayed at the Comfort Inn which is very nice. Comfort Inn 1200 Olmstead Rd Monterey, California 93940 (831) 372-2945 (Direct) http://www.comfortinn.com/ires/en-US...&depart_day=21

Camping with hook-ups fills up within the 1st 24 hrs. but there's still plenty of Dry camping http://www.seaotterclassic.com/camping/ We've camped in E around the *L* of the track, it's pretty cool it's either dirt or pavement so you need a camper, but you do get to watch all the racers go by when they're doing their track lap.
**Be warned - sites 374 - 378 (at least) are downslope from a water spicket to clean off bikes if they are muddy (we camped in 374) I spent a full day digging trenches around our site so we weren't in MUDD **Camping is as costly as getting a room, you just have to decide if you want the always at the races having everything with you feel or drive in each day.
