Looking for some feedback about a shop up North. The Bike Co… I tried to give them a shot when I purchased my 08 Superlight last year. But couldn't get the clear communication with the details & all so I went another direction. Lately, I’ve been speaking with them over the phone and I’m not too sure. Maybe this Saturday I'll drive up if the feedback is all good.

This place is a crap shoot at best when it comes to customer service. I never had a really bad experience but I haven't had anything over top either.

Sometimes they're hit or miss. Not the most shining reputation of all the shops around but they at least deserve a shot.

Go with a shop you know and/or get great personal recommendations for.

Give Switchback Cyclery a try - they're a Santa Cruz dealer as well.

I bought a Heckler from Redhawk Cyclery in Temecula and I have to say they're a pretty good shop. Not to take away from any other shops I just had a pretty good experience with these folks (4 bikes in 1 year from them).

I had my Blur built by The Bike Co. a few years back with no problems. Haven't dealt with them recently though because there are bike shops a lot closer to me now.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the bike co.

Go in on Sunday and ask for Sage (he usually only wrenches in the back) tell him McMini sent ya.

One of the best damn people in the bike biz PERIOD.
