Riding 545 miles in June!

Vision Quest Route info
Hey all...
I know there is a lot of info online but I can't find a simple route slip for the VQ. I'd like to know the mileage of each major climb (ie: Blackstar to the top) and each major descent and the mile marker of each checkpoint. Thanks! |

If you do the walkthrough on Geoladders, it should give you the mileage count at each turn. You may need to do some math to string some of them together though.

Here's from my recollection of riding it way more times than I care to remember.
Blackstar to beeks 8 miles with about 2 flat at start and a third mile downhill in the middle Beeks to top of the motorway 9 miles ish. with 10 or 11 climbs along the way Motorway about 4 miles down. Maples springs to the peak 13 miles with about a half mile down between Modjeska to Santiago Peak S Peak to HJ parking area about 8 miles all down hill, best part of the course by the way. HJ parking to top of WHT. about 7 miles (most painful part) Don't remember the traverse across the main divide to the top of Trabuco, but it's 20 to 25 minutes at that point. Trabuco is about 4 miles down to the start of WHT. and then it's all down hill from there. Hope this helps and Good luck. I'll be the one suffering mid pack.  |
