I use a small case logic camera. I do like to keep my camera in a second protective layer so as not to scratch up the body and the viewer. I tried the skin, but dirt seemed to get in between and it got just as dirty/scratched up. I haven't figured out if I'm getting another one or not yet.
For VQ I'll probably keep the little soft pouch the camera came in at the back of my Case Logic pouch and then just pull the camera in and put it back. Still may get minorly beat up, but not as bad as bouncing around in there alone. FWIW, the camera fits great. I think it's a cell phone pouch. |

I use case logic also. $7 or $8 at WalMart. I have it attached to the sternum strap on my Camelback since the case doesn't come with a horizontal strap, then I clip it to the shoulder strap so it doesn't bounce around too much.

I have to check the brand at home, but at Fry's I picked up a perfect one for my Canon SD500. It Velcros in the back such that it can attach to the shoulder straps and have the opening at the top.

Timbuk 2 makes a perfect one for a point and shoot. It's what I use for both my camera and my iPod (not at the same time though). I think a few stores carry them but you can also order them direct - http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/...accessory-case
Note my RED case on my left strap... at Whistler, yeah baby! ![]() Edited to show back of case... |

I bought a Timbuk2 Ipod case that fits my Canon SD870IS at REI in Santa Ana. I did not see it on REI's website so here is a pic. Much smaller that the Camelback camera poach.

When i got a chance to play in the giant sand box for 1 year, i used a travel soap box, its small and compact and most compact digital cameras will fit inside this box, you can even add a little cushion if you want. they work great and are easy to open and close, no zippers or anything holding it up. |

Lowepro Rezo 15. Has space for your camera and a spare battery(thats it). It velcros on to my camelback for easy access.

I got this one from i-nique.
![]() ![]() Works great...attaches to the camelbak with ease. The velcro is industrial...really secure, plus it doesn't have a zipper. I hate zippers on camera bags. This one is easy to open in a snap. It fits my Canon SD1000 really well (and my camera has a skin on it). |

Ordered it through Amazon.com. It shipped really fast (here in about 7-10 days) plus it was really inexpensive.
Here is a link to Amazon with the bag (it's called the Dude Bag). |
