I'm looking around for a 2" hitch mount, tray-type rack to carry 2 bikes. I mostly carry heavy, freeride or downhill bikes, so I need enough room inbetween and to accomodate bigger tires.
I've always owned Yakima stuff and feel good about them, but there seem to be plenty of brand options out there (Saris, Thule, Softride, etc). Looking for any advice about what works/doesn't, what's a good deal, etc. Thanks

I like and use a Hollywood Rack. Older modle that I will be upgrading soon. I am planning on getting the Hollywood Sport Rider but in a 3 bike version. It comes in a 2, 3 or 4 bike version.
Never had a problem with the quality of the Hollywood stuff. This is the one I will get ![]() ![]() |

Yakima's Hook up system is supposed to be good. We use a Thule T2 cause that is what we could find when we were looking
No problems with carrying two DH bikes and two XC bikes, and we've probably carried four DH bikes as well before. (We have the 2 bike extension.)![]() Bullit, Socom, Enduro. Farther away, but Norco, Reign, Socom, Demo 7 ![]() |
