I ordered a new On One Inbred 29er last Thursday. I have owned a first generation sliding dropout Inbred and LOVED it (my second favorite single speed to date) but like an idiot got rid of it.
Given the newer lovely sand-colored ones have an entirely different dropout configuration I am trying to plan for any nuances i need to be aware of....like would I9s make it work better seriously though, i suppose thoughts regarding brake setup/chaintugs etc would be appreciated.Cheers

I think yours will be the first in SoCal, haven't seen or heard of a new inbred yet.

assuming you are not kidding, there is no way its the first........anyway, guess I will figure it out. Only issues I am aware of thus far are utilizing Avid mech discs given the inside mount for brakes which causes interference with the BB7s....but I am just using my POS Juicys I took off the El Rey

apparently the slotted system works pretty good. I miss my inbred (26" 1st generation DN6 steel)
the next 29er ss i purchase will be an inbred. it was just that good a ride.

I love the rear brake setup, wish more builders would put it there. |

you got it. I may actually buy another and weld it permanently to my bike rack to add even further to my poseur status
Of course silly.....one is "sand" colored and the other is "champagne" colored. Depends on which outfit I want to wear as neither color goes with everything
