Just a note: If ya' visit The Path and don't find what you are looking for on the showroom floor: ASK a salesperson if the item is indeed in stock. Many times it is!

Stopped by yesterday and the place was packed. Lots of people were shopping with a semi-psychotic, "1 week to the VQ/CC and I'm so not ready" look of fear in their eyes (especially me).

Then path hooked me up big time on my bike build.
Purchased a Yeti 575 and fork on Ebay, went there for the first time to see if they could do a build. Not only were they the only shop that had most of the parts I wanted, they were willing to order the few they didn't have, and still offer the build discount. And I specified every single part! My previous "regular" shop would only discount 20% on what they had in-stock, and full retail on what they needed to order. And an added bonus is its on my way home from work!! Last time I called, they were closed on Sunday, but hey, things change! I recommend calling first. |

If any of you haven't been, and its a rainy day, have nothing planned, can't ride, its worth the drive to at least go up and check it out, do a little window shopping. they have some good deals, some average deals, and some high-end stuff. It's definatly a relaxed atmosphere. I wish there was a place like that around here. But I have an LBS I like, but its just not as "local rider hangout" oriented, oh well. Anyhoo pretty cool place, glad we went. |

that 15% off got me in there today too, fortunately I spared my wallet by only buying an Air9 frame.
Took the girlfriend (who stayed in the car) and her first words when I got back to the car were: "there were a ton of people here for small shop" followed by: "how much was it?" 15% off a new frame justified it  I think that's the first time I've ever walked in and walked out with exactly the only thing I planned on buying. |
