Default Return to full suspension...done right!

A bit of history, I started mountain biking on a hardtail a few years ago and almost immediately went to a full suspension bike, after a while on that I felt as I wasn't progressing as much as I would on a hardtail so I built up a quality hardtail and stayed on it almost 3 years. I probably would have returned to FS sooner but I just couldn't decide. So, after quite a long battle with indecision, confusion, and worry, I finally made up my mind, no really, for real. I got a smoking deal on exactly what I was looking for, a RFX-Large-Raw. I have dreamed of owning one of these for a while, and now that I've got it, I couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship is incredible, welds are beautiful and I personally love the Raw finish. I have it built up and have a few rides on it and it is an incredible riding bike. I am currently undecided on the fork I will be running permanently(it is between a 36 TALAS, Lyrik U-Turn or Lyrik 2-Step) and as soon as it I decide and get it I will post up pics of the complete build. Enjoy the pics. Later.

I have the 36 TALAS on my RFX and it’s performed extremely well, in my opinion the 36 TALAS has the best QR available, the double QR mechanism makes it vary secure, I also like the three position trivial, it’s quick and easy to adjust.
BTW, I think you get 5 points for the couch photo.

Congrats and enjoy.

I'll give my 2 cents for the 36 TALAS. I have one (an '07) on my '06 RFX. I think the 130 setting is great for twisty singletrack and techy climbs. Get the RC2 if you can. The H and L compression settings have great range and are perfect for getting the fork dialed.

Hey, I am not quitting the hardtail thing. Actually, I am having my Chameleon re-powdercoated and then I will be building it back up. However, I don't know how much I will be riding it considering how much I am liking the RFX. Later.
