For those adding comments, please be aware that this is not about a total closure of the park. It is about closing a large percentage of trails while re-routing or re-grading most of the others. Comments that show awareness of the specific proposal would probably be more effective than a simple "don't close Oaks" statement, since that's not exactly what it's about (but every signature is great, regardless)

[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]I am a frequent park user and can not believe what is going on in Santiago Oaks. I believe the park is obviously being mismanaged. When I see trash being used as trail filler and reroutes that are less sustainable than the original trail, I know something's not right. Please bring back our park from being so horribly mismanaged and bring in people who will listen or at least tell the public before modifying trails and spreading garbage on the ground.[/SIZE][/FONT]

This is fantastic little spot to escape the concrete jungle OC has become in the last 10 years. With all the building the developers have reeked on OC it was always nice to have the OAKS to take a quick ride or hike after work. If the county closes it, or sells it to the land hungry developers, you are doing a dis-service to all current residents and our children's children.
