Default What is STR?

I am so grateful I found this site.I let someone borrow my bike the other night and Coleko/Brian made sure I got it back. My point is, it is nice to be in a group you can trust in so many different ways. Such as the no rider dropped policy.Just a pleasure to be associated with fine people.

Tis true, I have had the privilege of meeting and carousing with some of the finest examples of our species due to this most excellent meeting place.

Thank you Godfather for the vision, OMR for the wisdom, Boats for lending a hand, and Dino for chasing all the honeys like any good mayor would.

I don't think it's just STR. The other day, I was overheating on a climb and stopped to take off one of the shirts I was wearing. This dude I'd never met before, going the other way, made sure I wasn't having a problem before zooming on down the hill.

None of us want to be stranded, or have our steeds ripped-off. And a lot of us wish we knew more trails, or how to ride them better, or how to wrench on our rigs. That "Do unto others" stuff just comes out naturally on the trail.

And I think STR (the web-forum and the rides) just provides an extension of the trail. I'm hella glad 4 that!

STR Riders, that is the reason why i don't mind driving far just to ride Fully Loop or Turnbull. I could've ridden something local, but sometimes its the people and not the ride.

Thumbs up Grasshoppers....

There's a commercial running on TV right now about people seeing somebody do something good and that motivates them to do like-wise. This is our intent here... the more positive things you put out there, the better life is for everybody. This should carry through not only to other riders (our Tribe) but to other people, spouses, friends... yeah, even people we don't like ... it's catchie and it will return to you 10 fold.

Hey! Nobody is more surprised than me to find that the older I get, the more I want to serve others. I just wish I had learned and followed this at a younger age.
