Hello,
your input is much appreciated.. there a bike store in Torrance who is selling an 08 redline monocog for under $500.00, It does not have disc brakes just v-brakes.. need advise if this is a good buy or just pass it on, i'm not looking to spend mucho moolah and this will be my starter bike for a 29ner.... the sizes they have 17.5 and 19. im only 5 7... let me know what you think ..

Thats an OK deal. I bought one about 2 yrs ago for $430 out the door. I think you should be able to find one for about $450.

i would go with a 15 and the price isn't bad, pretty normal i think

I just found a seller on ebay blowing out Motobecane 29ers - check it out - that's 4 bills shipped and it looks similar to the Redline. However, the Redline is a slightly nicer bike frame and parts-wise.
