Would anyone would like to join me for the Mud Run on 10/18/08.
I already signed up. My first mud run was in 06 and I was able to complete it. I think I was last for my age group. I started with the individual runners and then they all passed me. Then I just ran with the teams. It's really a ton of fun and I intend to do better this time. Plus I don't know how to swim, thought I was going to drown (the river crossing was not bad). Just froze when I jumped in the river. I did train for this by running at CCove. You do need to sign up right away because it sells out fast. I am not a runner! (just a little insane). Pugzie? On me if you join me. -Elvia Saturday, October 18, 2008 9:00 a.m. PST Lake O'Neill - MCB Camp Pendleton Camp Pendleton , CA http://www.camppendletonraces.com/asymca.html Individual - $50.00 Active.com - $4.25 4000 entrants cap http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=15 14762%20 This is a challenging 10K run with hills, tire obstacles, river crossings, two 5-foot walls with mud on both sides, reservoir crossing (3 feet deep), tunnel crawl, slippery hill climb, and the final 30-foot mud pit. Now that sounds familiar. I was stationed at pendelton. If I can come up with the money soon enough to join, I will come. Rehash old memory's.

No worries pugzie.
We can get ready for this together. Take our bikes to CCove ride and then run. I completed mine with a fractured foot. I wondered why I was in so much pain but was determined to walk out. -Elvia
