Hello all. Feast your eyes on this.....
![]() Decline magazine just did a review of this new bike, and thought it was the cat's pajamas. It looks like the active breaking pivot, EVO link, and floating shock mount will carry over to this new platform. Trek claims the bike will be well under 40lbs, even with the Bontrager components. I'm saving my pennies. Anyone is welcom to pm me their email, and I will forward the review, wich you can't read until Feb 5! ![]()

John Riley, Trek's MTB product manager has been emailing a bunch of us shop guys regarding the progress of this bike, and it is in final prototype stage, and final production is slated for July of 08'. It will look very much like this early prototype, with the addition of some new, exciting tube shapes not pictured. They flew Shandro, and many others all over the world to test this new platform, and are finishing it up at their R&D lab in Santa Clarita. Two and a half weeks ago, they were actually in Fontuckey with a couple of proto's doing more testing mid-week. (they would not tell me the date)
Thanks for readin, not trying to spam you folks, I know it seems like I am! I just get excited when new bikes come around, Trek or not! The session 10 is also slated for an early 09' facelift, and redesign according to Riley. ![]()
