There a little heavy, but a great bang for the buck. I've been on mine for almost a year. I haven't needed to true them up yet, being in your $ range I say get em, after the first couple rides check them to make sure the spokes don't loosen up.

I would check out Transistion too, comparable price range, and more color options.
They use the Azonic hub as well.

great rims, i use them for downhill so the weight is actually lighter than other options in that price range. i have bent one rim and it was totally my fault , i didnt get them tensioned for a long time and my front tube had a slow leak, so the air was low.

lack of maint = parts breaking

but smaked into a rock at full speed and dented the rim, any other rim im sure it would be much worse, still rideable just dented.

A friend of mine uses them. He breaks everything and these wheels have held up for him.

Deuszq just got an all white set. White rims, spokes and hubs. He should post a pic!

I actually have a pic of his bike, he sent it to me when he picked it up from The Path. Hope he doesn't mind!

That white-on-white looks SICK!! I got the white-on-black set. We didn't have the white-on-white in stock and I'm too stupid to be patient and wait.

I've had my Outlaws for 18+ months, broke 8 spokes( probably from running them a bit tight. These wheels hammer and aren't any heavier than anything else I've had that has only held-up 4 months.

Just stick them on and HAMMER!!
