Default Got my hydration pack today and...

the hose is kinked.

As soon as a little bend is applied to it, it kinks right up. Ugh, this sucks. So I emailed cust service to see what they can do about it. I wonder if they can just send me a new hose. The bag is awesome though!

If they don't, you can go to Ace Hardware and pick some tubing up on the cheap.

Doing that would be pretty close to the price of the Camelbak MULE (which this pack is a clone of).

You know I was at Costco this last weekend and they had some really decent hydro bags there and the price was unbelievable....20 bucks, with resevoir. Looked to be equivlent to a Camelback MULE.

Hmmm... Plus Costco has the super-duper return policy on all things not electronic.

If your going to get a new reservoir, then I suggest you get a Hydrapak reservoir, imo those things are awesome!

I was a little skeptical about this bag based on the price but bought one anyways. My wife has been using for 6 months and it is great. It has nice compartments for organizing stuff. The only thing is the straps are too long but that is easily addressed if I wasn't lazy....

FYI I was at the Fully loop last Thursday and later I was having a beer at Roscoes and I was talking to this guy that rode on the earlier lap and he told me he bought a Costco bike used the crap out of the bike and broke the frame took the bike back and Costco gave him his money back. Now that takes the cake for customer service.

except that he had to ride a costco bike for a while.... that's more like a disservice imo.

I'd suggest a deuter reservoir for a replacement, the coating they use is great at stopping mold/plastic/general bad taste.

I called pricepoint.com today and they are having a new tube sent out to me for free!
That was a quick and easy fix.

Do you have pics of it? What color is it? I bought one from Sport Chalet and its pretty nice but its blue. I want a black one. It was only 20 bux and it holds about 70 oz. of H2o.
