Default Some shots from...

a MTB demo day we had when I was in Japan. We had been building trails at this area for about 6 months and there was a big community festival so we had a bunch of bikes for peeps to ride and we built up some stunt-type stuff for people to try out. It was a great day, maybe sparked the fire in some other people.

I agree, looks like there's a huge ass flat spot right at the 10 o'clock position on the rear wheel of that Kikapu.

Oh, back on topic... Bike pics:

*sniff* 2nd to last time I ever wore those knickers... they were torn up in my Counting Coup "I was taken out at the start" crash. I should get them sewed up, though.
Hell Allison, is that Utah your riding in? The picture with the orange mountains behind you.

Justin and I did plan one here on STR for Memorial Day this past year. We went again with a few STR peeps over Labor Day, but due to space and shuttle vehicle constraints it was a small group.

The trailhead there is at 7000ft or so, so there probably won't be much riding there for the winter, but you never know. I'm sure the trail is clear right now.

There *may* be one next spring at some point. We'll probably want to get away from race training for a 3 day weekend and enjoy the Mars-scape.
