I just wanted to give big kudos for all the great RRs posted on this site. Well written and nice pictures that capture the essence of the ride
![]() The RRs make me all misty-eyed for SoCal. We moved from the OC to Phoenix about four years ago and have spent the last two trying to move back! We are putting our house back up for sale within the next couple of weeks but with the real estate market stalled right now, there's no telling when we'll get an offer. We were fortunate enough to spend the whole of last summer in the OC and also get back as often as possible for weekends but it just ain't the same ![]() Despite being from the U.K., SoCal is home after 17 years and I'm really homesick right now. The riding is decent here in AZ as many of you know from experience; however, there's nothing like being rewarded with a view of the Pacific Ocean after a long, burning climb ![]() I also plan to tag along on STR rides and get to know the people I've corresponded with on this site over the last few months ![]() Maybe if I click my ruby slippers together, the good wizard will work his magic... There's no place like home...there's no place like home...

I tried that ruby slipper thing when I lived in TX, it didn't work until I threw about a thousand dollars and a U-Haul at it, then I ended up home.
Good luck, see ya soon.

I tried abroad as well. The Pacific is like a big blue magnet.
