New colors for 08! George and I fine tuned it this morning and have decided on this design. We kept a similar charcoal for the dark gray and introduced a deep almost mustard yellow. These will be easily recognizable out there on the trails and they showcase the STR name on the side panels, the STR'rotor logo mark on the left sleeve with the STR sillouetted rider on the right sleeve anchored in a star as well as the STR letter mark on the lower center of the back. Not wanting to detract from the STR name, we kept the use of graphical elements to a minimum so the name really stands out. We did not discuss the long sleeve version yet, but it can be easily mocked up...stay tuned for a new STR sticker as well (not the die-cut kind).

This version shows the 'moto' cut jersey, as soon as I get my hands on the 'xc' cut jersey, I will post the design in that template. **note that i will flip-flop the 'socaltrailriders' on the panels so they will read 'right side up' when hunched over riding. (thanks klutter!)

Again with the growth and popularity of the site, hopefully we can place a larger order and get a price-break on them. It was also mentioned down below on getting some LBS support on these to keep the cost down, by allowing them to have their logo placed on the jersey...while this is a great idea to keep the cost a tad lower, it can also alienate certain people and shops since not everyone is a fan of everyshop. Stay tuned for pricing.

George, have you ever considered having an LBS sponser some of this? It could cut the cost quite a bit and if it was like the Path,Switchback, Adrenalin or a number of other LBS's it would be cool to have their name on it too. We were able to reduce the cost of our road club jerseys by 50%.

Just a thought.

It's been tossed up as an idea but a thing to consider is that some ppl are very loyal to one or two LBS's and might not like the idea of having other LBS's on their jersey. STR covers so much area that there's a lot of different people that you have to please.

We're not going for the 'lookit me I'm a racer and have 30 sponsors look.' Keeping it ad free lets us keep the design very clean.

Last jerseys were $63 (moto/dh) and $67 (xc). Gotta see how they count the colors on this one but most likey (hopefully) pricing will be very similar.
