Default Mtn Lion Sighting at JPL

Did anyone see this on the news tonight...??? Saw this on the channel 4 news and found this thread online from the person that took the shot:

I've seen two large bobcats in the area in the past two months. One on Ken Burton trail, the other one just past the 210 freeway bridge in the arroyo, late one night. Makes me wonder if the one under the bridge was the same cat, and I just underestimated it's size.....They've always been too quick for the camera though....

Wow, very pretty. That is a high traffic area. I'm surprised he/she ventured down that low. I wonder if he/she was looking for fish (do they fish like bears do, I wonder?)

I just did that run today after I saw the post. I kicked up a stick on El Prieto without knowing it and it landed behind me. I almost had a heart attack right there.

first thing that crossed my mind when seeing that image was thundercats. not entirely sure why, but that is an impressive animal, and an equally impressive shot.
