Duan - has passed that torch to me and I have to discuss a trail, more suitable for all SS's wanting to participate on this ride with my loving, warm & understanding - a beginner, not used to hardcore rides husband

Although San Juan is a good choice, many including myself would rather try something say a bit more mellow for our 1st real SS group ride.

Sure, but be prepared to be in the minority. If you own a SS and simply chose to the ride the gearie however, please prepare yourself to face ostracization. You know, just warnin' ya.

True, but without the 18yos.

If you need any extra parts to get your SS running, shoot me a pm. I pieced my bike together using extras and depending on your needs, I might have it lying around.

If you want REALLY SS noob freindly ride location, look at Santa Rosa Plateau. I think the worst climb is Stevenson Canyon Trail. 500'-700' ft gain in about 3 miles.
