Well, I've been wanting a 29er HT as another bike for a while now. Ibex is going to send a new rear swingarm for me to replace, so I don't think I will get rid of that frame anytime soon.

LAME... nothing worse than a broken bike.. at least you weren't hurt. Last guy I saw break a bike had to have surgery... ON HIS FACE ... shattered jaw.

I am looking for a HT and I believe Ellsworth only makes full squish 29ers.

The 2008 Kona Kula Deluxe 2-9 is a helluva deal. I'm curious about the weight though.

since they are now using scandium on a lot of the frames, that should address the weight problems of their older frames

It'd be a fun bike to ride for a day or two, though.

I asked Brian about the Hei Hei 29, and despite it being scandium, he said the Canzo 29er was a little lighter.

So, don't rule out the VooDoo's also. Matter of fact.. an Aizan (sp?) is on sale in the marketplace right now!

Hey I dont know what the policy is on having to send in the broken frame, but if you manage to keep it or they dont fix it for whatever reason, Im a machinist, i could have one of the welders in my shop try to weld it up for ya

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. They are sending me a new swingarm, so no welding needed.

I was originally thinking I would want a HT 29er, but now I'm having second thoughts. I guess I need to try one out first.

I rode the Gary Fisher Paragon at the Trek Demo last week. I was thinking full suspension 29er until I actually rode a HT 29er. I really like the feel and the quickness. I'm not a crazy rider doing big drops, so I really don't need FS.
