I missed out tonight because my nite rider battery decided it was over it.
It's new, now I have to send it in.
What a pain in the butt.

Has anyone had that happen to them?
Its the Fly HID lite.

It won't hold a charge, or is the switch bad? I had a bad switch on my TriNewt's battery, but Nite Rider was awesome and sent me a replacement right away.

Hey Jason,

I thought I had a battery problem too. Light would cut out, battery's rubber covering would swell with charging. Bought a new battery from LBS. Same problem. Turns out the capacitor in the lamp was bad form overheating. Probably me trying the cycle the light during the summer.

Anyhow, just send it in to Niterider and see what they say.

Personally, I'm just trying to squeeze a few more seasons out of it, and I'll be happy to switch to some LEDs. Those new ones are friggin' bright.

I tried plugging my light into Fred's battery and everything was fine.
Then i tried plugging Fred's light into my battery and nothing.
The light on my charger isn't responding correctly.
I just need to send it back. That sucks that is the second Light I have had to send back in the last 4 months.

NiteRider is awesome, needed some 0-rings because I lost my extra set and were at my door step 2 days later with no charge, great customer service!
