I have not found anything that prevents them fogging up. I have very well ventilated glasses and wear them lose while climbing and they still fog up. Its worse the colder it is, we simply generate way too much heat and our bodies fog them up when we stop.
I know for swimming I use a dab of johnsons baby shampoo in each lense and they never fog up, but I dont think that would work while riding as it would distort the lense. But if someone has advice, I would like to hear it also.

I've got the answer, but I can't remember off the top of my head what it's called. I use it for playing paintball. Glasses fog almost instantly in one of those masks.
It's a waxy product you rub on, let dry, rub off. Works really well. The other stuff that works great is called 500PSI. It's for scuba masks but also works rather well. It doesn't last as long though. I'll post up again tonight when I look at the waxy stuff I use. |

I bought the Oakley stuff, it's made for watersports, doesn't work for biking. :-(

Are these riding specific glasses l or are they prescription glasses? I have a set of Oakley half jackets that rarely fog up, usually only when i stop. I used to ride with normal sunglasses (the wrap around type) and they fogged after a few minutes of riding. It maybe the type of eyewear you have... it just maybe prown to fogging.

Go to any shop that sells Snow gear they have anti-fog cloths and whipes you can buy that work great for goggles and glasses. Nothing is perfect but they have helped me. They have them at REI and I have seen them at Sports Chalet.

I use the Smith No Fog cloth found at Sport Chalet or REI. Look in the ski section.

this is what I use - found it at the OC fair one year. This little tube of the stuff has been around for about two years and I'd say I've still got 80% of it left.

Wow, that takes me back! I used to race motocross (15 years ago) and had some of this stuff that I used on my goggles on cold days. I found it at a local fair in Utah probably 20 years ago, but haven't seen it anywhere else since. It worked awesome. Just bought some more off their website, thanks! |
