I'd bet a little bit of silicone fluid would prevent fogging since silicone is very hydrophobic. I can bring some to the loop tomorrow if you want to try it.

I have a pair of Under Armor shades, I picked up from Sports Authority. They have an anti fog coating ( all Under Armor shades do.) and work like a charm. They were about a $100 though, but well worth the money. I was having the same problem with other shades fogging up.

Rain-X works well. You need to reapply it every couple rides though.

Grainger has a bunch of eye wear that have anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings. I have a new pair of safety glasses coming soon that have both coatings for around $10. I think these are the ones I ordered.

I like wearing safety glasses for night riding since they are clear, cheap, protective, and comfortable. They also have tinted lenses with the same coatings for daytime use, but I've never tried those.

Thanks for all the ideas guys, I will try the no fog cloth tonight and if that dosen't work I will go with something else. Brewmaster - let me know how those glasses work with the no fog coating, you really can't go wrong for that price.

Hopefully I will have them for our ride tonight.

Just tried Cat Crap last night on a local nite ride and my glasses never fogged once. I run Bolle's with a prescription insert so I have four lenses to fog but this stuff works. Plus it is fun asking for it at REI. "Do you have Cat Crap?"

So who got good results with what they tried last night. I know a couple of people made mention last night that they were having success but I can not remember who all that was.

The baby shampoo worked well for the first 30mins of so, then they started fogging back up. Thinking about it, I should have just done one lense to really see a difference.

I remembered I have some silicon spray at home and will spray that on a cloth and try it.

Silicone spray on the things right in front of my eyes... and sweat...

Humm? Am I the only one that thinks that sounds like a bad idea? I'll stick with products that are actually MADE for anitfog on eyewear.

Same reason I don't lube my chain with spit or pee or silicone spray or baby shampoo.

The Grainger glasses I have worked awesome. No fogging at all. I found that even if I breathe on them, they don't fog. Best night riding glasses I've had, and they're only $10!

I just mentioned this on a similar thread so it is a repeat.

I've had great success with swimming anti-fog spray ($2) from Chick's Sporting Goods.

It isn't an extra step.....I just use it instead of water to clean my glasses before every ride. 4 sprays, wipe, ride.

WD-40 will prevent fogging. Not silicon, but specifically WD-40

my Oakley RADAR path had not fogged "NOT EVEN ONCE" I have the vented lenses on it, my Sweat just runs off from the lenses too... My Oakley goggles has not fogged either after I tore off the foam on top and sides of it for better ventilation. I hope that helps.

I have this exact one
